At just 14 years old, Konnor Jamieson, a proud Cal Bear baseball player, had his life changed forever when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. Despite the relentless chemotherapy treatments, Konnor received heartbreaking news—his leg could not be reconstructed, and amputation was his only option. Throughout it all, Konnor has shown incredible strength and resilience, inspiring everyone around him.
Before his diagnosis, Konnor was an active and passionate athlete. He proudly played baseball for the Caledonia Bears as well as loved competing in golf, lacrosse, hockey, and three-pitch tournaments. Now back at Brantford Collegiate Institute, Konnor’s determination to reclaim his active lifestyle remains unshaken.
Konnor has completed chemotherapy and will soon begin the next phase of his journey: learning to walk—and eventually run—again with a prosthetic. He dreams of obtaining a high-performance running prosthetic and swimming prosthetic to help him return to the sports he loves. However, these specialized prosthetics, as well as rehabilitation, travel, and necessary home modifications, come at a significant cost.
We are asking for your help to support Konnor and his family during this critical time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Konnor take the next steps toward recovery and achieving his dreams.
Please join us in giving Konnor the future he deserves.
