Hello, I'm Marianne Sabatine, I'm excited to announce that I have taken on the role of Webmaster for the Caledonia Minor Baseball Association Executive Board!
Some of you might know me from around the Caledonia Hockey Arena where I've spent many nights and weekends cheering on my two oldest boys (or chasing after my littlest and trying to stop him from driving his trucks over your feet). However, this marks a new chapter for me. Now you'll find me at Henning Park, where this summer, my oldest son has traded in his soccer cleats for a baseball glove. While my husband played many years of rep ball in Hamilton and is a seasoned vet, it's my first season diving into the world of baseball, and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of this Caledonia Bear community. So, if you see a mom chasing after a wild soon-to-be 4 year old, or cheering a little too loudly from the bleachers, chances are, it's probably me. Please come and say "Hi"!
As the Webmaster, I'll be responsible for maintaining and updating the caledoniabaseball.ca website, crafting articles, sharing stories, and highlighting the achievements of our players and teams, all while keeping our digital space vibrant and alive by posting updates on our social media. I will also be general tech support to our CMBA Board Members to ensure things on the back end are running smoothly. Please “bear” with me as I learn this role and apologies in advance for any typos and know that I'll be working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our online presence reflects the passion and excitement that defines Caledonia Minor Baseball.
