This marks his third year coaching for the Caledonia Bears, where he's made a lasting impact on players and fellow coaches alike. Derek's commitment to the game extends beyond the diamond, as he is deeply invested in ensuring that the logistics of umpire scheduling run seamlessly. With his keen organizational skills and unwavering reliability, Derek ensures that every game is staffed with qualified umpires, maintaining the integrity and fairness of our league. Beyond his role as Umpire Scheduler, Derek's involvement in the Caledonia baseball community runs deep. As a father of two boys actively participating in the organization, Derek understands firsthand the importance of fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young athletes to thrive in.
